RIVER + SPIRIT

Inspired by designer Charlese Antoinette's journeys to Bali and her initiation in Yorubaland in 2023, this collection features materials special to both regions: pearls and cowries. These exquisite materials, sourced from water, symbolize the spirits of the great mothers. The collection's name is also derived from Malidoma Some's book "Of Water and Spirit," recounting his homecoming and challenging re-initiation into his community, fueling his mission to share their wisdom with the world. A parallel journey for CA, this is her offering.
